Kennedy High School before joining the staff at Cosumnes oaks high School, where he coached until he returned to the Panthers.

JB was influenced by several people in his life and throughout his career and recognizes that his parents, Dr. Loraine Brown and Frederick Brown have always been his biggest supporters and instilled a commitment to education in me that has never wavered.  They taught me an endless ability to dream (Dream Big, which was not just a saying, but rather a belief that I could do anything I put my mind to.  Former SCC coach, Jerry Sullivan taught me the value of hard work on the field and the importance of preparation and commitment.  As an assistant coach on Sully’s staff, I learned the value of community and how to communicate with people from all walks of life.
