Sophomore Kevin Saenz has led the Panther offense in the short (baseball) month of January. He has started every game, splitting time between right field and catcher. He led the team in hitting with a .438 batting average (7 for 16), including a double, home run and 6 RBI's. He also drew 5 base on balls, scored 2 runs, and had a stolen base during his 5 games played. City, last year's State Runner-Up, was ranked #2 in the pre-season behind last year's State Champion, San Joaquin Delta.
