Title: Infield Coach

Lynn, a native of Levittown, Pennsylvania, relocated to Sacramento in 1975 and begins his second season as a Panther assistant coach.  He will coach the infielders and assist with the base runners. 

Lynn played in the Babe Ruth and American Legion World Series for Levittown finishing second both times.  Lynn was a shortstop for the Panthers in 1975 and 1976, playing for SCC Hall of Fame coach, Jerry Weinstein.  After hitting .441 in 1976, Lynn signed a contract with the San Diego Padres and played two years in the Padres organization.

Coach Black was a varsity assistant coach at Christian Brothers High School from 2006-2015 and the past four summers has assisted with the Easton Cats development-based travel ball program with the Sacramento Sports Center and Easton Baseball. 

Lynn has two daughters, Summer and Ashley, both graduates of Christian Brothers High School and the University of California San Diego and Davis respectively.  Lynn is retired and resides in the Pocket Area of Sacramento with his wife of 37 years, Tina.  He enjoys traveling with Tina and reading in his spare time.
