The Men's Basketball team finished 18-11 and 10-4 with a second place finish in the Big 8 this season.  Head Men's Basketball Coach Andrew Jones says, "They were a true team whose season ended a bit earlier than hope for". Several Panthers earned recognition for their accomplishments on the court and in the classroom as well this season.

So G / F KJ Duronslet was named 1st Team All State and to the Big 8 1st Team All-Conference team. Duronslet (John F. Kennedy) averaged 16.7 PPG, finished 3rd in the Big 8 with 9.1 RPG while shooting 49.3% from the field. Freshman G Gabe Serna (Elk Grove) and sophomore F Alex Tsverov (Center) were selected to the Honorable Mention Big 8 team. Sophomore G David King (CK McClatchy), sophomore F Michael Wadsworth (Oakridge), and sophomore F Alex Tsverov (Center) were selected to the Big 8 All-Academic team this season.
