KJ Duronslet is named the SCC Male Athlete of the Year

            KJ Duronslet helped lead the Panthers to a Big 8 Conference Runner-up finish and a #8 seed in the Nor-Cal Playoffs.  He was a 1st Team All-Big 8 Conference Selection and a 1st Team All-State Selection.  KJ Duronslet averaged 16.7 points per game and scored 452 total points on the season; becoming just the 6th player in Panther history (since the turn of the century) to go over 400 points in a single season.  His two best offensive games came in the last week of the regular season as he scored 32 points at Diablo Valley and then again (had 32 points) on Sophomore Night versus American River.  He shot 55.6% from the floor in Conference games and 49.3% overall, both led the team.

            KJ Duronslet wasn't just a scorer, he also led the Panthers in rebounding with 9.1 boards per game and finished the season with 246 total rebounds (both 3rd best in the Big 8 Conference).  Of his 246 rebounds, 152 came on the defensive end, while 94 were on the offensive glass.  Since 2000, he is just the 6th Panther in school history to pull down over 200 rebounds in a single season.  KJ Duronslet also led the team in blocked shots and steals.
