Game 1 (7-1 W)
Sac City was able turn 9 hits into 7 runs after tying the game at 1-1 in the 4th. The Panthers came up big in the 5th and 7th innnings adding 6 more runs to closeout the victory. City Melissa Martinez went 2-3 while scoring 2 runs. Taylor Fratto went 1-3 with 2 runs and 4 RBI's and Sydney Craft was 1-4 with 1 run & 1 RBI led the Panthers. Pitcher Angelica Dark earned another win with 5 hit, 4 strikeout performance against Folsom Lake.
Game 2 (11-0 W)
The Panthers bats got off to a great start powering City to a 11-0 lead by the 3rd inning. Big games were put in by Emily Murphy who went 4-4 with 3 runs and 1 RBI, Ashley Adamson went 2-2 scoring 1 run with 3 RBI's as well. Sydney Craft finished 2-2 with 3 runs scored for the Panthers. City had 13 hits in the win over the Folsom Lake Falcons and swept the series.
Sac City hits the road for a DH series against the Modesto Pirates Tuesday April 25th. Game 1 start is 1 PM and Game 2 will begin at 3 PM. The Panthers are now 21-13 this season and are 12-10 (4th place) in the Big 8. These are the last games of the regular season for Sac City.
