The Panthers lose to American River on Thursday night

The Panthers got off to a slow start Thursday trailing 42-29 at the half. Freshman Maddy Bates led the Panthers with 20 points and 8 rebounds while hitting an impressive 6-12 from the three point line. Sophomore Jessica Lauderdale had a solid all around game with 14 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Isabelle Beaven scored 8 points and Meghan Case added 7 points in the 70-56 loss at American River. 

 

The Panthers finished 13-15 this season with a Big 8 record of 6-8. This season included a big road win over the 11th ranked team in the state DVC Friday, February 10th. City will await to hear the results of seeding for the 2017 CCCAA state playoffs.
