The Panthers can't overcome a slow start and lose to Sequoias in Round 2 of the playoffs

Sac City started slowly at COS Saturday and trailed 42-16 at the half. The Panthers played better in the second half but were outscored 35-28 before losing 77-44. The College of Sequoias had a 54-20 advantage in rebounds for the game. The rebound dispartity combined with City cold shooting from the field 10-41 (41%) and 27% at the three point line made for a frustating end to the season. Sac City was led by sophomore guard Kayley Cravens 10 points, 7 rebounds and 6 steals. Sophomore guard Jessica Lauderdale had 10 points with 4 rebounds and sophomore guard/forward Isabelle Beaven finished with 12 points and 4 rebounds.

 

The Panthers end the season with an overall record of 14-16 and with two consecutive season in the postseason. Congratualtions to the Panthers basketball players and its coaches on their achievements this season.
