The Panthers finished the season (14-16 / Big 8 6-8) and were able to make the playoffs for a second consecutive season under head Coach Julz. City also put a dominant first playoff performance together over Gavilan 76-29. Freshman G /F Maddy Bates (El Camino) finished 7th in the state & 2nd in the Big 8 at 40.7 % from the 3 point line while averaging 10.7 PPG.

Several Panthers earned recognition for their accomplishments on the court and in the classroom as well this season. So G Jessica Lauderdale averaged 16.7 PPG, 6.5 RPG, and 3.5 APG on 41% FG  &  34.4 % shooting from the 3 point  line. Lauderdale (John F. Kennedy) was selected to the All Big 8 1st team. Last year, Lauderdale was named 2nd team all state as well. So G Kayley Cravens (Del Campo) after a knee injury last season returned to average 7.3 PPG & 3.7 RPG was named to the Academic All-State Team for second time. Cravens was also named to the Big 8 All-Academic Team. "Panther Pride"!
