Girtha Davis

Girtha was the leading rebounder and scorer for the basketball team in 1968, averaging over 19 points per game in an 11 game season.  She had a high game of 35 points, which stood as a school record until 1980 when it was broken by Cheryl Bradley who scored 42 twice.  Girtha also pitched on the softball team.  Girtha became a mainstay in the athletic department after her playing days were over; and although she has since retired from her previous position as equipment manager, she is still seen working various sporting events at Sac City College.

Kim Martinez led the Panthers to their best finish since the conception of the state tournament when she led the state in scoring in 1996 for the Final Four bound Panthers. Martinez was named all-state and all-District, joining Tina Green as the only Panthers to earn the latter honor. She was honorable mention all-American, and she left SCC with the school record for points in a career with 1570.
