Sac City takes 4th place at the Big 8 Conference Tournament #2

The Panthers traveled to Rocklin and Whitney Oaks Golf Course on Thursday for the Big 8 Conference Tournament #2; hosted by Sierra College.

SCC was led by Freshman Ciera Hoag (91) and Sophomore Megan Sturgeon (93).  Katie Haase ended her round of play at 105, followed by Hannah Peters with a 108.  Hannah Reynoso (118) and Jayla Pons (130) rounded out the field for the City golfers.  

Nothing changed in the team results from Big 8 Conference Tournament #1 as the Sierra Wolverines shot a 336, followed by Modesto with a 368.  Butte shot a 381 to place 3rd and Sam Joaquin Delta finished 5th at 420.  Napa Valley (430) and American River (475) finished in 6th and 7th respectively.  Mendocino did not record a team score.

Sac City is back in action next week on Thursday, September 15th as they travel to Ukiah Golf Course in Mendocino for the Big 8 Tournament #3 hosted by Mendocino College.
