Home golf course plays kindly to several Panthers as the team takes 3rd at the Big 8 #7

Hunter Hoag shot her season low (81) to lead the Panthers to a 3rd place finish at the Big 8 Tournament #7 that Sac City hosted at Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course. Megan Sturgeon (83) and Hannah Reynoso (90) also shot their season best on their home course. Hannah Peters (86) was one stroke off of tying her season best mark as well.

On the team side, Sierra won their 7th consecutive conference tournament with a 295 score. Modesto finished in front of Sac City with a 324, while the Panthers ended the day at 338. Butte (350), Napa Valley (373), SJ Delta (374), American River (399), and Mendocino (DNF) rounded out the field.

City travels to Stockton's Swenson Park next Thursday for the Big 8 Tournament #8 hosted by San Joaquin Delta College.
