The Panthers are in 7th place after the first round of play at the Nor-Cal Championships

Hunter Hoag and Ciera Hoag both shot an 89 on the opening day of the Nor-Cal Championships at Butte Creek CC in Chico.  Hannah Peters finished her opening round at 93, followed by Katie Haase (100), Megan Sturgeon (101), and Hannah Reynoso (107).

Team Scores (after day 1): Sierra - 312, Modesto - 329, Canada - 355, Fresno City - 360, Butte - 364, Reedley - 366, Sac City - 371

The Nor-Cal Champion will be crowned on Tuesday after the final round or play from Butte Creek CC.
