Sacramento City College

One of the top JC wrestling programs in the State and Nation. At SCC, we believe in Student / Athletes.  We train young men to be better wrestlers and we guide young men to succeed in the classroom.  It is because of this philosophy that we have 1) More Academic All Americans than any other California Team by over 50%   2) Send so many wrestlers onto the 4 year programs and they succeed both on the mat and in the classroom. College Coaches know that our kids are expected to train hard and study hard.  They want our kids in their program. We had 8 former wrestlers in the 4 year level this year alone.  This year 2 competed at the NAIA Nationals in Des Moines, IA with one earning All America1 competed for Wartburg College that won the D3 National Title.  Every one of them received a scholarship to attend the various schools across the nation.  In 2012 we received State Academic Athletic Team Award. We are the only CCC Wrestling team to EVER receive the award. In 2015, we beat 3 NJCAA teams including 5X National Dual Champ, Clackamas College of Oregon.
