Title: Assistant Coach
Coach Darius Levan enters his first-season on staff as an assistant coach with the Panthers in 2023-2024. This is Levan’s first time entering the collegiate coaching ranks, having coached wrestling at Armijo High School in Fairfield since the 2017-2018 season where he is also an assistant. Additionally, Levan also serves as a coach for professional MMA fighters at the Train4Life Center in Suisun City.
 
At City College, Levan serves under Coaches Marques Gales, Walter Ulrich, and Lawrence Saenz to foster a championship team-culture and to mentor scholar-athletes on and off the wrestling mat. Levan works closely with the lightweight and middleweight wrestlers on technical and tactical skills.
 
Levan graduated from Armijo High School with Highest Honors and was named Team Captain of the wrestling team. He went on to graduate magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. During the Fall 2022 season, Levan enrolled at Sacramento City College and competed for the Panthers, winning the CCCAA Northern Regional title and earning a CCCAA State medal, both at 125lbs. Levan also earned All-Big 8 Conference honors and was named Team Captain.
