City plays to a 1-1 tie against Oxnard, the host of the Sea Breeze Tournament

The Panthers traveled to So-Cal for the Sea Breeze Tournament at Oxnard College and opened up against the host Condors on Saturday morning.

The Panthers would strike first as Jacqueline Santana scored an unassisted goal on a penalty kick at the 39th minute of the 1st half.  In the 2nd half the Condors would even up the score 1-1 with a goal in the 68th minute.  That's how the game would end in a 1-1 tie.

Sac City's keeper, Fatima Sarmienta had a busy day as Oxnard had 11 shots on goal, scoring just once.  City on the other hand, was only able to get 3 shots on goal against a tough Condors defense.

SCC will play Citrus on Sunday at 10am to finish up play at the Sea Breeze Tournament.
