On Sunday, the Panthers played another tough team from So-Cal, the Citrus Owls.
The Owls were able to find the net twice in the 1st half on 6 shots on goal. The Panthers made some defensive adjustments and were able to hold Citrus scoreless in the 2nd half, but the Panthers offense was held in check as they were only able to get off 5 shots during the game. The Owls would hand the Panthers their first loss of the season with their 2-0 win.
SCC returns home to host Napa Valley College on Tuesday at Hughes Stadium at 6pm.
