Panthers get the #6 seed in the North and host #11 Butte (18-9)

The Sac City Panthers Volleyball team is seeded #6 in Northern California and will open up the 2016 CCCAA Regional Playoffs against #11 Butte College.  The Panthers (21-3) finished the regular season as the Big 8 Conference runner-ups, while the Roadrunners (18-9) were co-champs of the Golden Valley Conference (with #10 Feather River College).

The Panthers and Roadrunners met early in the season at the Sierra Mini tournament back on September 2nd and Sac City won that match 3-0 (26-24, 25-11, 25-23).  The Roadrunners have won 7 in a row, while City dropped their final two games of the season heading into Tuesday's opening round match of the Nor-Cal Regional Playoffs.

Come out and support the Panthers Tuesday night in the North Gym as they host Butte in their 7pm playoff match-up.
