Panthers season comes to an end with a 3-2 loss to Sierra in Round 2 of the Playoffs

The Sac City Panthers were defeated by Sierra 3-2 (31-29, 18-25, 21-25,25-19,15-9) Saturday in the second round of the CCCAA Nor-Cal Regional Playoffs. The No. 6 Sac City Panthers finish a great season with a 22-4 overall record.

 

The Panthers got strong performances from So OH (#10) Keeley Franz who had 20 digs, 14 kills with 2 blocks and 66 total attacks. So OH (#4) Sam Kepler had 18 kills with 14 digs and 47 total attacks. So OH (#2) AJ Woo finished with 13 kills, 10 digs and 44 total attacks. So S (#5) Kassidy Rauh led team with 50 assists, 12 digs, 3 kills, and 3 blocks with 15 total attacks. Fr MH (#9) Jalyn Jones had 6 kills with 22 total attacks. So LB (#3) Halee Parnell led the team with 28 digs.

 

Congratulations to the Sac City volleyball team and its coaching staff on their many achievements earned this season!  Sac City Sophmores OH (#10) Keeley Franz and So S (#5) Kassidy Rauh earned 1st team All-Conference selections in the Big 8 this season. So OH (#4) Sam Kepler earned a second team All-Conference selection in the Big 8 as well. City So OH (#10) Keeley Franz was also named an All Northern California selection.  Coach Laurie Nash reach & surpassed the 300 wins coaching career milestone this season.
