Wrestling goes 3-0 at their Multi-Dual competition on Saturday; Pacheco notches win #300
SCC hosted a multi dual meet with 4 other teams on Saturday. The Panthers went 3-0 on the day to improve to 16-2 on the season. They won by the following scores: 
SCC 53- Delta 0
SCC 35 - Shasta 13
SCC 30 - Skyline 20

This ties a record for most wins in a season.  1977 and 2000 also had 16 wins. With 2 more duals this Wednesday, the 14th of November, the Panthers have a chance to break the record. They will travel to Redding to meet Southern Oregon University and Simpson University.
 
The third win of the day over Skyline, was the 300th win of Coach David Pacheco's career.
 
The Panthers were led by Abel Garcia (Soph-165-Oakdale), Conrad Trevino (Fresh-157-Del Campo), Thoai Dat (Fresh-125/133- Yerba Buena) and Jordan Denny (Soph-174/184-Folsom). All went 3-0 on the day.  Abel Garcia won all three matches by fall while two of Jordan Denny's wins were by fall.  Conrad Trevino had one major decision.
 
Ryun Ortiz (Soph-125-Potomac, VA), Isaac Bertolotto (Soph-174-Turlock), and Brian Horn (Soph-197-Rocklin) all went 2-0 on the day. Ryun Ortiz had one major decision, Isaac Bertolotto had a fall and a tech, while Brian Horn had 2 techs.
 
Others getting on the winning side of things with one win were: Manuel Curry, Marques Evans, Michael Mello, Bronson Harmon, Hayden Elias, Thomas Thornton, Andrew Garcia and Dylan Crawford.
