Anthony Galati is the 2018-19 SCC Male Scholar Co-Athlete of the Year

Anthony Galati helped lead the Panthers to a 3rd place finish in the Big 8 Conference and a number 4 seed in the Nor-Cal Regional Playoffs.  This past weekend his Panthers swept #13 Taft and they advanced to the Nor-Cal Super Regional later this week against #7 San Mateo.

Galati is one of the top hitters on the team, batting .328, with 40 hits (including 6 doubles, 3 triples and 5 home runs).  He has 31 RBI's and his .455 on base percentage is 2nd best on the team.  Anthony has drawn 25 walks and leads the team with 41 runs scored.  Galati was named to the 1st Team All-Big 8 Conference as an outfielder and a CCCBCA Academic All-State Team selection with a 4.0 GPA.

He will play in the premier Northwoods League this summer for the Thunder Bay Border Cats.  Galati is still weighing his options for next season and is being recruited by TCU, Penn State, Oklahoma State, Oregon and Missouri to name a few.
