The Panthers have a strong opening meet as they host the Jamie Nieto Invitational

The Panthers hosted the Jamie Nieto Invitational on Friday at Hughes Stadium to officially open up the 2017 season.  City had a strong showing at home as they won 8 of the 14 events.

Lonsha Bradford finished 1st in the 100m dash with a time of 11.95.  Haley Grieger won the 800m at 2:35.60 and Jasmine Loyola won the 1500m with a time of 5:31.06.  Faith Grewe doubled up and won both the 100m and 400m hurdles with times of 16.72 and 1:18.20.  Janessa Moses won the Shot Put with her 12.04m throw.  The Panthers also won the 4x100m and 4x400m Relays.

The Panthers are back in action this Saturday, February 25th at the De Anza open in Cupertino.
