The Panthers were even with the Mustangs after the first inning but saw Delta rally in the 3rd inning with 5 runs scored. City was defeated by the Big 8 conference leading Delta Mustangs 8-1 despite out hitting them 8-6. The 4 errors Sac City committed in the game were too much to overcome.

 

Sac City was led by 2B Taylor Fratto 2-3 and 1B Marissa Rocha 2-3 with 10 putouts performances. SS Emily Murphy went 1-4 and scored the Panthers only run in the game.

 

City (17-13 / Big 8 8-10) will look to perform better at home Friday in their final home Big 8 double header this season against Santa Rosa (10-21 / Big 8 7-12) at "The Yard'. Game 1 start time is 1 PM and Game 2 will begin at 3 PM. Come out and show your "Panther Pride".
