The No. 19 Panthers were defeated by the No. 4 Butte Roadrunners Saturday, Nov. 12th 31-10 after leading at the half 10-3. Butte rallied in the second half outscoring City 28-0 to close out the game on their home field. Sac City finishes the regular season at 5-5 with a 2-3 record in the National Norcal conference this season. Butte finishes the regular season 8-2 and 5-0 in the National Norcal conference. Sac City hopes to have earn a postseason bowl game berth this season.
Sac City FR RB (#28) Jimmy Hatch led the team with 16 carries for 61 yards with 1 rushing touchdown. So WR (#5) Davon Gillum had 4 catches for 64 yards including a big reception of 46 yards on the day. FR WR (#15) Denze Hampton finished with 4 catches for 52 yards. FR QB (#11) Justin Yeaton went 13-28 for 148 yards passing with 2 interceptions.
Defensively, the Panthers were paced by So DL (#23) Sai Taamu 12 tackles (4 solo, 1 sack) and So LB (#22 ) Cameron Calder had 12 tackles (3 solo). So DB (#3) Shaunard Harts finished with 9 tackles (4 solo), So DB (#25) Elijah Jones 8 tackles (4 solo), and FR DB (#8) Keshawn Gilmore had 7 assisted tackles Saturday afternoon.
