SCC wrestled 3 teams from Oregon at the Lassen Duals on Saturday and came away with a 1-2 record. Both Eastern Oregon and Warner Pacific, NAIA schools beat the Panthers, while Umpqua JC went down in defeat. SCC Lost 12-31 to Eastern Oregon, they then beat Umpqua by a score of 45-11 and then lost to Warner Pacific 22-26.
Abel Garcia went 3-0 with a Fall and a Major Decision, Jason Stokkeland went 2-0 with 2 falls. He leads the team with 17 falls on the year. Robert Nickerson also went 2-0 on the day.
The Panthers will meet up with Sierra College on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at Sierra College with the BIG 8 Conference Title on the line. Match time is 7:30 PM.
