(6-3) #20 SAC CITY MEN'S BASKETBALL FINISH 2-1 AT JAMES CLARK CLASSIC CRC DEC.3RD-5TH

JAMES CLARK CLASSIC (December 3rd-December 5th)

 

Feather River:

The Sacramento City Men's Basketball team opened the James Clark Classic losing a close game against Feather River 78-74. Sophomore F (#22) Arnie Vargas scored 21 points and grabbed 7 rebounds and sophomore F (#55) Brandon Rowden finished with 14 points and 4 rebounds. Freshman G (#12) Bret Lynch scored 12 points grabbed 5 rebounds and dished out 5 assists as well.

 

Merced:

Sacramento City in game 2 of the tournament put on a dominant performance against Merced winning 94-60. The team had several players score double figures. The Panthers were led by sophomore forward (#55) Brandon Rowden who scored 21 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, sophomore G (#3)  Devin Joseph had 15 points and 4 rebounds, freshman G (#6)David King scored 14 points had 6 steals and pulled in 5 rebounds. Sophomore F (#23) Vic Rustin scored 13 points and grabbed 9 rebounds and freshman F (#41) Tyler Abrego scored 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds as well. The Panthers shot 49% from the field (37-75) and 75% from the foul line (15-20).

 

Siskiyous:

Sacramento City in game 3 of the tournament defeated Siskiyous 62-55. The Panthers were led by sophomore F (#23) Vic Rustin who scored 23 points and had 11 rebounds, sophomore F (#55) Brandon Rowden had 10 points with 5 rebounds, and freshman F (#41) Tyler Abrego scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.

 

The #20 (6-3) Sac City Panthers return to action against (5-4) Allan Hancock at MJC Tournament at Modesto on Dec. 15th at 8 PM
