The Sacramento City College Men's Basketball team came out on top (79-74) against Delta College. The game was close the entire way with Sac City leading (39-37) at the half. In the second half Sac City outscored Delta (40-37).

The Panthers were led by So F (#55) Brandon Rowden scoring 15 points and grabbing a team high 14 rebounds. So F (#23) Vic Rustin scored 12 points with 4 rebounds, So F (#22) Arnie Vargas scored 12 points and had 3 assists. In the backcourt So G (#3) Devin Joseph scored 10 points, Fr G (#12) Brett Lynch scored 7 points grabbed, 7 rebounds and dished out 5 assists. Fr  G (#5) David King had 9 points with 5 rebounds. So G (#11) Marc Burns scored 3 points pulled down 7 rebounds while dishing out 5 assists.

The Panthers will return to action next vs. Diablo Valley College (10-8 / Big 8 (2-2) Tuesday Jan. 19th at 7:30 PM on the road.
