RS Freshman (#11) Guard Jessica Lauderdale and Sophomore Guard (#12) Jasmine Bernardo named to All Tournament team.

NorCal 8th ranked Foothill College:

The Sacramento City College Panthers controlled the play most of the afternoon against Foothill College with good ball movement and outside shooting. While Foothill used their post-players to attack the Panthers inside with baskets and offensive rebounds opportunities and the game was tied 25-25 at halftime. The Panthers led by 13 points in the fourth quarter before a Foothill run aided by SCC turnovers cut the lead down to 3 points. The Panthers secured the game with a free throw make and a Foothill turnover on its final possession for the win 52-48. The Panthers were led by sophomore PG (#0) Corina Tacardon 12 points (4-4 3 FGs) with 4 assists and 3 steals.  Sophomore G/F (#23) Aleea Reese scored 14 points (6-10 FG) and grabbed 6 rebounds. Red-shirt freshman G (#11) Jessica Lauderdale had 9 points and 5 assists and sophomore G (#12) Jasmine Bernardo had 9 points and 3 assists.  Sac City was 19-44 43.2% FG, 12-27 44.4%3 PM-A and 50% on free throws on 2-4 from the line.

NorCal 5th ranked San Francisco City College:

Sac City won a tight game against San Francisco City College Saturday night 63-62. Sac City were down 37-35 at the half and outscored SFCC 28-25 in the second half. The Panthers were led by sophomores G /F (#23) Aleea Reese and G (#12) Jasmine Bernardo who scored 14 points on 5-7 from the field and 4-7 shooting from the 3 point line. Redshirt freshman G (#11) Jessica Lauderdale scored 14 points on 4-9 from the field and 2-4 from the point line and 4-6 from the FT line with 6 rebounds. Freshman G (#10) Mikaila Royster finished with 8 points, 4 assists and 5 steals. Sac City was 20-42 47.6% FG, 10-21 47.6% 3 PM-A and 48% on free throws on 13-27 from the line.

NorCal 4th ranked Sierra College:

Sac City led at the half against Sierra 34-31 but were outscored 28-15 in the second half and  lost 59-49. Rs freshman G (#11) Jessica Lauderdale led the Panthers on a tough shooting night for Sac City. The Rs freshman G (#11) Lauderdale was 4-17 shooting from the field ,1-9 on 3's and 6-6 from the free throw line finishing with 15 points with 4 rebounds. Sac City was 17-60 28.3% on FG, 6-25 24.0% on 3 PM-A and 75% on free throws on 9-12 from the line for the game.

Sac City finishes the weekend with 2 wins against ranked opponents, with two players named to All Tournament team and a second place finish at the Sasha Brown Classic.

The Panthers prepare to play next in the 39th Annual Gilcrest Invitational Tournament at the College of Sequoias December 3rd-6th.
