Caleb Theodore enters his first season as the head coach at Sacramento City College.

In two seasons at Las Positas College, Theodore resurrected a Hawks program that had been dormant from 2020 to 2022. Theodore’s 2023-24 squad doubled their wins from the previous season, finished 7th in the state in Points Per Game (75.9), and led the state in Rebounding (58.1). The team included the state’s top two rebounders in freshman, Joyce Mulumba (21.3 rpg) and sophomore, Monique Cavness (19.6 rpg). Joyce Mulumba finished second in the nation in rebounds on all levels: (NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, NJCAA, 3C2A) and led the state of California in rebounds making it the first time in program history Las Positas had back-to-back leading rebounders in the state (3C2A) and Top-5 Rebounders in the Nation on all levels.

Kierstin Constantino, who also earned WBCA All-American Honorable Mention, led the Nation for Juco (NJCAA & 3C2A) in 3-Pointers (146) 3FGM, finished second in the Nation on all levels (NCAA Division-I, II, III, NAIA, NJCAA & 3C2A) in 3-Pointers behind Iowa's Caitlyn Clark, was second in the state in scoring (26.2 ppg), and First Team All-Conference. Kyshanti King finished ranked #12 in the state in scoring (20.0ppg) and 7.3 rebounds per game. Cavness and King were Second Team All-Conference, and Mulumba earned Honorable-Mention.

His 2022-23 team was led by freshman forward, Monique Cavness, who earned WBCA All-American Honorable Mention after leading the state with 17.8 rebounds per game.

Theodore previously served as First Assistant Coach at Cal State East Bay under former head coach Shanele Stires (Cal Poly San Luis Obispo) with a team that most recently finished as California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Tournament Champions, advanced to the NCAA Division-II West Region Championship while maintaining the #1 seed in the West, hosted the West Regional Tournament at Cal State East Bay for the first time in school history, and finished with a D2SIDA National ranking #10 with an All-Time record of 24-3 overall, 15-1 in conference. 

Theodore was responsible for working in all facets of the program including recruiting, scouts, film, strength and conditioning, recovery & rehabilitation, nutrition, digital media specialization and content creation, data tracking, scheduling, alumni outreach, created the Cal State East Bay Women's Basketball Newsletter, coordinated all travel arrangements, laundry, inventory, equipment purchase and distribution for players and staff, assimilating male practice player squad, pre-season organized individual skill development, organized and conducted summer camps and all associated administrative duties. 

Theodore worked directly with NCAA West Region All-Tournament Team, First Team All-CCAA, CoSIDA Academic All-District, All-CCAA Second Team, Charnofsky Award Winner, CCAA Winter All-Academic, Athlete of the Week, Two-Time CCAA Tournament Champion, Madison Schiller, CCAA All-Tournament Team, CCAA Second Team All-CCAA, CCAA Elite 13 Award Winner, Athlete of the Week, CCAA Charnofsky Award Winner, CCAA Women's Basketball Championship Scholar Award Winner, Team Scholar-Athlete Award Winner, CCAA Winter All-Academic Winner, Delia Moore, CCAA Tournament MVP, CCAA All-Tournament Team, Second-Team All CCAA Winner, Zhane Duckett, and Second-Team All-CCAA, Athlete of the Week, Mina Tameliau.

Prior to Cal State East Bay, Theodore served as a Graduate Assistant for Bradley Davis's University of the Pacific Women's Basketball team. Theodore helped develop Erica Adams to the West Coast Conference (WCC) All-Freshman Team. He also helped develop Brooklyn McDavid and Lianna Tillman to WCC Honorable Mention nods. Theodore also assisted in the development on WCC Defensive Player of the Year, Becky Hammon Mid Major Player of the Year Nominee and WNBA Round 3, 25th Overall Pick for the New York Liberty: Valerie Higgins.

A native of Modesto, Theodore made history as the first player in Big Valley Christian College Prep school history to play professional basketball. He has had the privilege of showcasing his talents across the globe, playing professionally in Montenegro (MNE) and Australia (AUS). A member of the "Košarkaški Savez Crne Gore" (KSCG) also known as The Basketball Federation of Montenegro. During his rookie season in Montenegro, he was awarded "KSCG PRVA-B" Newcomer of the Month (October 2019) after averaging 15.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals. Theodore was also noted for his international presence around skills and player development while coaching in Ukraine and Montenegro. 

Theodore is currently in a PhD Candidacy program at the United States Sports Academy (USSA) for a doctoral degree in Sports Management with an emphasis in Exercise Science, Coaching and Title IX.

Theodore earned his Master's of Arts (MA) in Coaching and Athletic Administration in 2021 and a Master’s of Science (MS) in Exercise Science in 2022 from Concordia University Irvine. 

Theodore played collegiately at William Jessup University and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology in 2016.
