Panthers Earn State Playoffs Berth

The Sacramento City College Panthers (18-9 / Big 8 8-6) look to avenge their final Big 8 conference match loss by the #18 (20-8 / Big 8 9-5) Santa Rosa Bear Cubs 3-1 (25-14, 25-20,20-25, 25-18) on Nov. 18th at Santa Rosa. For the state playoff the SCC Panthers were seeded 9th and the SRJC Bear Cubs are the 8th seed. This match will be held Tuesday Nov. 24th at Santa Rosa at 7 PM.

 

2015-16 VB Season Awards Named:

Sophomore MH/OH (#9) Madyson Taylor was named a 1st team Big 8 All-Conference selection and a All NorCal Regional Selection for her great play this season.  Fr S (#5) Kassidy Rauh received 2nd team Big 8 honors as well. Congratulations to these student-athletes and the entire volleyball coaching staff and the entire team for their successful season and playoff berth. Good luck in the postseason. Go Panthers!
