The Panthers traveled to San Luis Obispo on Friday afternoon to play the Cuesta Cougars.  The host showed why they are a contender in the Western State North Conference limiting the Panthers to just 4 shots on goal the entire afternoon and pitching shutout against the visitors.

Cuesta would take a 1-0 lead in the 20^th minute and doubled up on the Panthers with another goal in the 40^th minute, both by Sydnie Esser.  The Cougars would find the net again in the 80^th minute as they went on to beat the Panthers 3-0. 

With the loss Sac City falls to 2-2-1 overall and will start play in the Big 8 Conference next week.  They host cross-town rival American River Tuesday, September 12^th at Hughes Stadium at 6pm.
