"Bomber" begins his 25th season as a Panther assistant. Since coming to SCC, over 60 pitchers have transferred to NCAA Division 1 universities, 21 have signed professional contracts, and 5 have reached the Major Leagues. At Sac City, Bomber is responsible for all aspects of pitching staff development and coordinates the Panthers’ recruiting. 

In 2000, Deskaheh was an assistant coach for the Chatham Athletics of the Cape Cod Collegiate League. Eight players from that team went on to play in the Major Leagues. Deskaheh spent the summers of 2013-2015 assisting USA Baseball with the selection of the 18U national team. In 2020, Bomber was the manager of the Rochester Honkers in the Northwoods Collegiate League.

Bomber was 2017 and 2019 Nor-Cal Scouts Association Coach of the year. In 2018, Bomber was named the American Baseball Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year for the Pacific Association.

Deskaheh began his collegiate coaching career in 1996 at Eastern Kentucky University. At EKU, Bomber was responsible for the development of the pitching staff and coordinated their recruiting efforts. Bomber played two seasons at Cosumnes River College. 

Following his CRC career, he transferred to Sonoma State and played two seasons for SSU. Bomber has a BA from Sonoma State in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in physical education from Eastern Kentucky University. Bomber is also a full-time instructor at SCC, as well as the head women’s golf coach. Bomber and his wife Rosanne live in East Sac with their daughter, Ryan.
