The 15th ranked Sacramento City College Panthers (3-7 / Big 8 2-3) were defeated by 5th ranked Amercian River (7-3 / Big 8 4-1) at American River College November 14th 38-18.

Sac City led the game 11- 7 at the beginning of the second quarter before American River rallied back and took lead 14-11 into halftime. The second half saw American River score on several drives of 8 play and more. Also American River held Sac City to one score in the second half which came on a 24 yard touchdown pass from freshman QB (#15) Taylor Laird completion to freshman WR (#86) Maceo Clinton with 5 seconds left in the fourth quarter. The final score was 38-18 win for Amercian River.
