Sam Carter helped lead the Panthers to the Nor-Cal Grizzly Bowl this past fall.  As a Defensive Lineman, the majority of what Sam does on the field is not reflected in the stats, as his primary goal in the trenches is to prevent holes for the opponent's running game between the tackles and to put pressure on the opposing team's quarterback.  However, Carter did record 13 tackles on the season, including 1 sack and 1.5 tackles for a loss. 

While Carter has not committed to a four-year school yet, he has been accepted to UCLA and is still finalizing when he will move on with his 4.0 GPA.
