The Sacramento City College Softball team improved their record to (24-5-1/ Big 8 12-1) with their Big 8 defeat over ther Modesto Pirates 8-0 in 5 innings. City got off to a fast start jumping out to a 5-0 lead after the first inning.

So P (#16) Jostyn Bebout threw for four strikeouts in her win. The Panthers were led by So 2B (#4) Madison Butcoff who had 2 hits and scored 2 runs. So C (#13) Kaitlyn Leffle had 1 hit with 3 RBI and So 1B (#21) Megan Anthony also finished with 1 hit, scored 1 run with 2 RBI on the day. 

The Panthers face DVC (23-8-1/ Big 8 7-6) at "The Yard" Thursday in a Big 8 Double Header Game 1 starts at 12 PM and Game 2 at 2 PM. Come out and show your "Panther Pride"!
