Deskaheh Bomberry, or Coach Bomber as he is known, is no stranger to Panther Athletics.  He has been an assistant coach for the Panther baseball team and member of the Kinesiology, Health and Athletics (KHA) Department for over 20 years.  When asked about the new role, Deskaheh said I'm excited for the new opportunity!"

Sac City KHA Dean and Athletic Director Mitch Campbell added, "We are overjoyed that Deskaheh will become our new Head Women's Golf Coach. He has a substantive Golf background and brings a wealth of experience as an accomplished coach in the CCC system. I know he will work tirelessly to establish our Women's Golf program as a model program for student-athletes to achieve their goals both academically and athletically."

Bomber will continue to be an assistant with the baseball team and one thing is for certain, he will be busier than ever next spring as a result of the recent CCCAA announcement that all sports have been moved to the spring semester.  Women's Golf is traditionally a fall sport.
