So F (#55) Brandon Rowden from Valley High School was selected to the Big 8 All-Conference team. Rowden averaged 14.9 PPG and 6 RPG was the 7th leading scoring in the Big 8. Rowden had 7 games with at least 21 points scored including 3 in conference (26 pts at CRC, 21 pts at DVC, & 27 points at ARC).

So F (#23) Vic Rustin from Franklin HS in Elk Grove was selected to the Big 8 All Conference team. Rustin was the 18th leading scorer in conference play averaging 10.8 PPG and 6.8 RPG while shooting 45.8% from the field. In February, Rustin had back to back games with 20 or more points. Both young men help lead the team into the postseason with a 16-12 record and to a 1st round upset of No. 15 Foothill College 79-61 Wednesday, February 24th.
