Zhurko (Volleyball) earns the Panther Athlete of the Week Award for Sept. 23-29

Martha Zhurko, a 6' freshman middle blocker from Laguna Creek HS, helped the Panthers improve to 2-1 in Big 8 competition by recording 23 kills for the week. She recorded hitting percentages of .300 and .250 and totaled 6 blocks in two contests, including a 3-1 defeat of Modesto (the 15th ranked team in Northern California).
