The Panthers opened up the 2017-18 season at the Tony Costello Tip-Off Classic at Las Positas College on Thursday night.  Sac City played the Contra Costa Comets in their opening round game and came away with a 79-61 victory.  Sophomore guards, Gabe Serna (21 points), Troy Owens (17 points), and Raphael Durr (14 points and 9 assists) led the Panthers.

SCC will play the host Hawks on Friday at 5pm in a semi-final match-up.
