Williams' 3 pointer at the buzzer gives the Panthers a 99-97 win over Los Medanos

The Panthers were back in action at the Ball in the Fall Tournament at Solano College on Thursday afternoon.  Sac City played the Los Medanos Mustangs in their opening round game, a contest that turned out to be a shootout for JC (Junior College) basketball.  The Panthers came in just under the century mark and they needed all 40 minutes to do so as Kyle Williams knocked down a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give SCC a 99-97 victory.

Ryan Reed had a double-double with 26 points and 14 boards and Raphael Durr had 19 points and 8 assists.  Gabe Serna dished 5 assists and scored 15 points and Reeshahr Crawford finished with 11 points.  Jhalen Lumpkins also had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

The Panthers will play Reedley (62-57 winners over Shasta) on Friday evening at 5pm in the semi-finals.
