The Panthers advance to Sunday's Consolation Championship at 10am

The Panthers picked up their first win of the season on Saturday as they beat Contra Costa 74-64 in game two of the Sasha Brown Classic at Sierra College.  SCC was led by sophomore Jessica Lauderdale with 22 points (including five 3-pointers) and freshman, Maddy Bates connected on seven 3-pointers.  Sophomores Cauje Curney and Kayley Cravens added 11 points and 10 points respectively.  It was freshman, Dominique Buckor who was a huge presence on the defensive end of the court for the Panthers acting as the stopper on several Comets possesions while grabbing 10 rebounds in the win.

The win puts City in Sunday's Consolation Championship game at 10am...come on out to sierra College in Rocklin to support the Lady Panthers basketball team.
