Sacramento City College pulled off a dramatic 3-2 victory over Modesto in ten innings, securing a crucial conference win and improving to 19-8 (6-5 conference). A walk-off wild pitch sealed the victory for the Panthers in a game defined by strong pitching and late-inning drama.

Sac City struck first in the third inning when Juliana McClain launched a solo home run, giving the Panthers a 1-0 lead.

Modesto Rallies Late

Modesto remained scoreless until the seventh, when Frankie Paz came around to score on a wild pitch and an error, tying the game at 1-1. In the eighth, Katelyn Bridgeman delivered a clutch RBI double, plating Sophia Coronado to give Modesto a 2-1 advantage.

Korrie Almond (W, 11-6) was dominant in the circle, throwing 10 innings while allowing just one earned run and striking out seven. Modesto's Brooklyn Heffernan (L, 14-7) also went the distance, surrendering just two earned runs over 9.2 innings in the tough-luck loss.
